You have found one, or maybe even more vacancies at companies located in the Netherlands and would really love to practice the best job you can. We admire your will to go run for the job interview and give your best performance, but please take it easy.
In job vacancies it is often already mentioned if you need a work permit, before they invite you for an interview. A catch 22 that lots of migrants miss when looking for a job in the Netherlands. While looking for a job, you probably did not think of that. Are we right?
However, this does not mean you cannot get this dream job of yours. The only thing you need to do, is team up with an IND referent company. A company such as ours.
A very important condition you need to be aware of, is the fact that your Dutch employer should be recognised by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Authority (or IND). Of the 1,3 million businesses in the Netherlands, only 6,000 are recognised by the IND. The chance that you go to a job interview with an already recognised IND sponsor is rather small though. But no worries! We got your back!

There are a few steps you need to undertake to solve that catch 22 we’ve talked about earlier.
It is possible to work with the Dutch Umbrella Company to solve the issue of not having a work permit (before having a job in the Netherlands). We can be your legal employer via a a payroll construction. This means that you can practice your daily job at the company you want to work for.
As your legal employer, we also take care of your work permit, employment contract and of course your monthly salary with pension, insurances and social premiums. And of course according to Dutch law and regulations.
Before you go to any job interview, you should be aware of this simple solution for highly skilled migrants who want to work in the Netherlands. The fact that you are able to mention that you can work through an umbrella company/IND referent company, will increase your success rate considerably.
Not only does it take away the hassle for you potentially new employer, but you also show that you take care of things. And that’s what Dutch employers admire in a good employee.
When you and your employer want to work together, but neither an employment contract nor a freelance construction are options, it is possible to create a job with a lot of flexibility.
To be more specific: you will be able to work for multiple clients, possibly simultaneously, without being self-employed. You will be socially insured and assured of your income, and your employer can purchase your services without having to enter into an employment contract and without having to draw up complex model agreements. You both enjoy all the benefits of flexibility.
