The government adjusts the amount of the minimum wage twice a year. On the 1st of January and the 1st of July – in line with changes in average collectively agreed wages in the Netherlands. What does this mean?
The law does not lay down the amount of hours there must be in a workweek. Usually it’s between 36-40 hours depending on what you agreed upon with your employer.
Do you get paid every 4 weeks? You can convert the wages to a monthly amount: (gross salary per 4 weeks x 13) / 12 = monthly salary.
