Transition to SEPA

On February 5, 2014 by Dutch Umbrella Company

The Netherlands is switching to SEPA, the new European payment system. All national-individual payment systems will disappear in order to create a single integrated European transfer market for retail payments.

Due to SEPA, there will be no differences anymore when it comes to processing retail euro payments within Europe. The initial commencement date was  February 1st 2014. Recently an extra overlapping period of six months was initiated.

WePayPeople has been preparing for the transition to SEPA  and we  are currently migrating towards the new system. The only essential transformation for you is the change of our bank account number. Our current bank accounts are being replaced by the International Bank Account Number (IBAN). Our IBAN number required when your company migrates to SEPA is:

Current Account: NL85 RABO 0141 4407 24
G-Account: NL 97 RABO 0991 1219 02
