What is an umbrella company?
An umbrella company is a company that employs freelance workers and contractors who are employed via recruitment agencies. Umbrella companies are likely to be used by workers on short-term contracts in between permanent roles, or by workers on a long-term contract who don’t want the added workload of running their own limited company.
